Webinar: New Criminal Laws

We recently hosted an enlightening webinar on the New Criminal Laws, featuring esteemed legal expert Mr. Sumanto Mandal from BIT Sindri. The session provided a comprehensive overview of the latest reforms in criminal law, including procedural changes and their broader implications on the justice system. Mr. Mandal’s expertise in criminal justice, legal analysis, and judicial processes offered participants a clear understanding of how these reforms impact various stakeholders.

BGMI Campus Combat

The BGMI Campus Combat, organized by the IETE Students' Forum of BIT Sindri, showcased top-tier gaming talent and competitive spirit. With the motto "Victory belongs to the most persevering," the event saw intense matches where players demonstrated their strategic and gaming skills. It was a thrilling display of gameplay and fierce competition. Beyond the wins and losses, the event celebrated the essence of gaming.

30-Days Challenge

The IETE Students' Forum arranged a dynamic collaboration with YouTuber Arsh Goyal for the "6 Companies 30 Days Challenge!" This challenge was designed to aid college students in building consistency and addressing crucial questions posed by top tech companies that typically hired OFF CAMPUS for Software Roles - Internships and Full-Time positions. Incorporating DSA into practice provided students with critical skills that enhanced their academic performance .

CLU-E-MINATI 2.0

Clu-e-minati was an engaging event organized by the IETE Students' Forum, where participants were presented with movie scenes in the form of riddles. The challenge was to guess correct movie based on clues provided. Participants competed enthusiastically, and winners were awarded based on the highest number of correct answers and the fastest response time. The event tested both knowledge of films and quick thinking, making it a fun and thrilling experience for everyone.

Kreatrix

Kreatrix was an enticing and pioneering event challenging competitors to show off their ingenuity by morphing an image formed from several pictures uploaded on Instagram. Initiated on 17th August 2023, it paved way for students to merge their artistic capabilities with technology. This involved the participants using images provided to them to create everything new and original; thus, any mannerisms could be applied depending on the artist.

Workshop: Carmel Giridih

We conducted a workshop on Web Development and Robotics in Carmel School, Giridih, around 76 km away from the institution for students of classes 9-12. The IETE students showcased the roadmap for full-stack web development, including website creation, and introduced them to the fascinating world of IoT and Arduino, where students learned about building remote-controlled wireless robots. Additionally, the students were introduced to the plethora of career opportunities in these fields.

The webinar HACKLANE ended with a massive ascendancy.All the sessions were highly enlightening for the attendees and the viewers. The workshop aimed to make this an eminent opportunity to grab knowledge and prosper skills in ethical hacking. It focused on Security intelligence, SQL injection, and how to make a career in all this.

IETE Students Forum presented a golden opportunity, in the form of a webinar,to aspiring coders who dream to land a job in a product based comapny. Mr. Monu Kumar, an expert at Coding Blocks, took up the task to provide the viewers with a detailed rodmap to a career in software engineering.

Inquizitive

IETE Students Forum organised an exhilarating quiz competition named Inquizitive, to enable the participants to showcase their command in tech. The quiz included topics like SQL, HTML and logical reasoning.There was a massive number of participants who came forward to test themselves. Exciting prizes were awarded to the winners.

Worksop on API 101

In collaboration with POSTMAN a workshop on Application Programming Interface. The workshop aimed to incite tech-geeks to upskill themselves by acquiring a deep knowledge of APIs from scratch by our mentors. Hands-on session to make requests, test APIs & develop APIs.

NeXus

The event was a fiesta for web developers where they had to make a fronted website and host it. It gave students an opportunity to show their skills and to shine among such a large crowd.

Workshop on WordPress

Workshop on WordPress and its day-to-day uses by our eloquent speaker Mr. Sagar Mondal (Founder & Growth Head of SquashCode). The session made us aware of simply putting a static design and engaging websites to attract more viewers.

Workshop on WebDev

Workshop on web development wherein students got in-depth analysis of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git and GitHub. The participants also got the opportunity to host their own portfolio website live during the workshop.

A poster designing event on the theme of Space technology.It took creativity to a whole lot new level with a technical twist. The entries received were astounding and the event ended with a colossal triumph.
